Alex obtained his bachelor’s degree from Elon University in 2007. He joined RSI in 2016 working in administration before being promoted to Operations Manager in 2017. Alex is in charge of leading RSI’s network of contractors to ensure quality assurance with repairs conducted and warranty compliance. He is proficient in sourcing difficult leaks and solving problems. Alex also manages the repairs for our client’s assets, which total over half a billion.
Fun Fact: Alex enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.

Alex has been with RSI since 2008, starting in the repair division and moving into consulting. Alex conducts roof assessments and develops reports with recommendations, options, and budgets. He is experienced in performing moisture surveys with infrared cameras and capacitance meters. He has been involved in surveying and monitoring jobs across various fields including hospitals, heavy industry, commercial, and historical construction. Alex is proficient in sourcing difficult leaks and solving problems.
Fun Fact: Alex can play multiple instruments and has performed in bands touring the country.

Andrew obtained his Bachelor’s Degree at Radford University. He started his roofing career ten years ago working on the contracting side where he worked with both reroofing and repair projects. He started with RSI in 2024 and works with the consulting team developing comprehensive specifications and guidelines for roof projects.
Fun Fact: Andrew once swam with sharks in Hawaii.

Austin earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Roanoke College and has been with RSI since 2024. He has a background in customer service and construction. Austin assists with various service repair projects and troubleshooting leak investigations. He is involved with facilities that include heavy industrial, nuclear plants, hospitals, and office buildings.
Fun Fact: Austin played college baseball.

Berri is a Charlotte native and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington in Virginia. She has been with RSI since 2018 and is the Director of Administrative Services; this consists of overseeing the administrative team for both the consulting and service departments. She is in charge of developing and coordinating proposal work, accounting, invoice processing, and billing for the consulting department. Berri also facilitates the selection/interview process and develops the training for new staff.
Fun Fact: Berri is ambidextrous.

Bryan Guess

Bryan has worked for RSI since 2013. His main responsibilities include performing building assessments, moisture surveys (infrared, impedance, etc.) and managing projects. Prior to RSI, Bryan earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, as well as a Certificate in Translation Studies (Spanish→English). During his time at RSI, he has become credentialed both within the construction industry and outside of it, holding certifications from IIBEC and the Project Management Institute. He is a Certified Infrared Thermographer (CIT) as well as an FAA licensed drone pilot.
Fun Fact: Bryan has composed music for an off-Broadway play.

Casandra is a New York native and started working with RSI in 2021. Her responsibilities include service dispatching for our clients, proposal development, warranty claims, and ensuring accurate job tracking and history for all service clients. She is also in charge of maintaining the accounting and invoice processing for the service team.
Fun Fact: Casandra enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and cat.

Chloe started with the company in 2020. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a Minor in History from Canisius College. She manages capital reroofing projects alongside our consultants overseeing the project from beginning to end. Chloe is involved with proposals, contracts, bid evaluations, contractor qualification, submittal reviews, weekly progress meetings, review of reports and quality assurance.
Fun Fact: Chloe was raised in a military family, and before she turned 18, she had moved 11 times and lived in Stuttgart, Germany.

Clay graduated from NC State in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. He joined RSI in 2020 with a background in customer service and sales. At RSI, Clay conducts roof assessments and develops reports with recommendations, options, and budgets. He is experienced in performing moisture surveys with infrared cameras and capacitance meters. His involvement in surveying and monitoring jobs has provided him with experience across various fields including medical facilities, heavy industry, and commercial buildings.

Dan joined RSI in 2021 and works behind the scenes on capital reroofing as part of the Project Management Team. His involvement in these projects mostly consists of delving into wind design, building code, drafting, and construction specifications. His work helps provide the foundation for quality construction and design.
Fun Fact: Dan spends his time indulging in creative arts. This includes leatherworking, painting, costume making, and more.

Dave has over 30 years in the roofing industry. He began as a commercial roofer and worked his way up to superintendent overseeing hundreds of projects. Dave worked as a technical representative at a leading manufacturer for 2 years in charge of North Carolina, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. He also worked for four years for a national roof management company. Dave specializes in the applications of single-ply and modified bitumen roofing systems and provides project quality assurance monitoring.
Fun Fact: Dave has put his feet in every state while inspecting or installing roofs, except for Hawaii.

Drew obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management from Appalachian State University. He has been with RSI since 2012 and obtained the designation of Registered Roof Consultant (RRC) in 2021. He also obtained the designations of Registered Roof Observer (RRO) and Construction Document Technologist (CDT). In addition to his role as Vice President, Drew oversees reroofing projects from the initial design throughout the specification development and construction process. From managing reroofing projects to performing building assessments, moisture surveys, and quality assurance observations, Drew is involved in all aspects of our consulting services.
Fun Fact: Drew enjoys doing outdoor activities with his dog, Gus.

Hunter started with Roof Solutions in 2021. He is responsible for roof inspections, quality assurance monitoring for capital reroofing projects, large-scale service projects, and general support to the consulting team. He obtained his Associate Degrees in Science, Industrial Systems and Maintenance, and Engineering Technology from Central Community College.
Fun Fact: Hunter enjoys spending time golfing, watching sports, and spending time with his wife and many pets.

Jay started with RSI in 2019. He manages projects, provides quality assurance monitoring, conducts roof assessments, and is specially trained in leak sourcing. He has worked in the commercial roofing field for over 10+ years. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Western Carolina University. Jay worked for three years on the contracting side of roofing conducting repairs, managing clients, and developing business. He worked with a major manufacturer as a field service representative for 5 years conducting warranty inspections and contractor training.
Fun Fact: Jay enjoys spending his free time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and playing sports with his three sons.

Karishma earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Mitchell Community College, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Surat, India. She joined the RSI team in 2023 with eight years of experience in customer service. Her main duties at RSI are analyzing and compiling roofing data for the development of roof inspection reports for the half billion in client assets that RSI currently manages in our roof management program.
Fun Fact: Karishma likes to do yoga and meditation.

Madison is the point of contact for service requests and inquiries from our clients. She runs RSI’s leak investigation, provides customer support, and assists in reporting, planning, and invoicing service requests and projects. She coordinates and implements marketing initiatives and runs RSI’s social media. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.
Fun Fact: In her free time, she loves to play tennis and do yoga!

Michael joined RSI in 2007 after graduating with his Bachelor’s Degree from North Carolina State University. He started as a consultant under the mentorship of Co-Founder, Chuck Marvin, and is now the Co-Owner of the business. He is responsible for all company operations, design, and technical review. In addition to his role as CEO, Michael is the Account Manager for various Fortune 500 companies involved with everything from acquisitions to long term asset management. Having earned certifications in exterior wall, waterproofing, and roof consulting from IIBEC, Mike has become one of the few registered building envelope consultants in the country.
Fun Fact: Mike loves everything involving water sports, golfing, and mountain biking with his boys.

Miki was born and raised in Japan and has spent half of her life living in the States. Miki obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from SUNY Brockport. Miki started with RSI in 2023. She has 10+ years experience in inputting and analyzing data, management and training. Her main duties at RSI are analyzing and compiling roofing data for the development of roof inspection reports for the half billion in client assets that RSI currently manages in our roof management program.
Fun Fact: Miki enjoys spending time with her family, as well as making macrame projects such as purses and DIY holiday decorations.

Moises joined the team in 2019 and has worked in the roofing industry for 10+ years. He earned his HAAG Low Slope Roofing Certification in 2023. Moises focuses on repair project implementation and is specially trained in leak troubleshooting. He helps oversee RSI’s network of contractors to ensure quality assurance with repairs conducted and warranty compliance.

Pilsun & Chuck co-founded RSI in 1994 to provide unbiased representation to owners. Pilsun is a licensed General Contractor (GC). Prior to awarding ownership of RSI to Michael LeLiever and Rosemary Grant, she oversaw the business side of the company, including accounting and administrative functions involving human resources, benefits, and other functions. She now provides oversight and training.
Chuck served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division out of high school and attended Methodist University near Fort Bragg for two years upon discharge. He then moved to Korea for two years attending Maryland University while teaching English to the Seoul Police Academy, Korean Department of Agriculture, and the Joong-Ang Cultural Center.
Professionally, Chuck experienced manufacturing and quality control in the mid-1980s, working for BF Goodrich in their roofing Division (Tremco) for four years. He then learned the contracting business as an officer for four years at Simon Roofing until he and Pilsun founded RSI in 1994.
Several technical articles regarding energy conservation, managing hazardous materials, effective asset management, and more have been authored by Chuck, with the International Institute of Building Consultants (IBEC) awarding him the Richard M Horowitz Award for Excellence in writing in Interface magazine. He has spoken in many forums, including IIBEC’s International Convention, Technical colleges, and various engineering associations.
Chuck has been certified as an expert witness in multiple states. His published work has been cited in court regarding environmental issues, safety issues, and general disputes. His work has also been cited with an Industry wide alert bulletins issued by IBEC and referenced by the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA).
Fun Fact: Now semi-retired, Chuck and Pilsun enjoy both of their daughter’s families complete with beautiful granddaughters, a grandson, and grandpuppies. Humanitarian efforts, playing Hwatu (cards) with Harmony (grandmother), and hiking consume the remainder of their time.

Robert manages various service repair projects and troubleshooting leak investigations for RSI. He has been in the roofing industry for 24 years and with RSI for over a decade. His prior experience ranges from working for a regional contractor to working for a national contractor, primarily in their service departments, providing solutions to water entry challenges.
Fun Fact: Robert retired as a 1st Sergeant from the 82nd Airborne Division after 20-plus years of service.

Rosemary grew up in the foothills in Old Fort, North Carolina and moved to the Charlotte area to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from UNC Charlotte. Rosemary started with RSI soon after in 2008 beginning as an Office Assistant. She is now Co-Owner and Chief Operations Officer of the business. As the COO, she leads the day-to-day operations of RSI and oversees consulting, services, marketing, and human resources. She obtained her Certified Administrative Professional Designation and a specialty in Organizational Management.
Fun Fact: She loves to play board games and do puzzles with her husband and two kids.

Sarah has been with RSI since 2023. She focuses on assisting with project management, compiling and reviewing SMP (Solutions Management Program) reports, and coordinating business travel for the company. Sarah has certifications in computerized accounting, Microsoft applications, and as an administrative specialist. She obtained her Associate’s Degree in Office Administration from Western Piedmont Community College.
Fun Fact: Sarah loves to crochet and is learning to make Amigurumi (small stuffed animals).
